The school holidays are normally reserved for North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. However, we are now pleased to offer individual courses when your school holidays fall outside these times and dates.

Children will receive full board including 4 daily meals. The accommodation consists of either double or shared rooms.

For adults wishing to accompany their children, we can offer accommodation from a wide range of guest houses, hotels and apartments in our immediate environment.

Each child on a booked holiday will be allocated a horse or pony for riding, grooming, and of course to love and to have fun with.

If you want to bring your own pony or horse, it can be housed in our bright, airy guest stables or outdoor where lush pasture is of course also available.

Qualified riding instruction takes place in small groups, specially arranged by age and level of training, taking into account any small rider and horse. Upon request, children can finish their holiday with an exam such as "Hufeisen", "Basispass" or "Reitabzeichen".

Riding takes place in our bright, friendly riding arena (20 x 40 m), and we have a beautiful outdoor arena including natural obstacles, too.

To provide a memorable holiday, the schedule has been designed to accommodate riding tours and picnics at Friedensreiterweg.

The Westerfeld Riding Centre’s primary purpose is focused on daily riding (twice a day) and other aspects related to caring for horses. But there are also lots of other activities taking place.
